The Magnum series of microscopes is based on a robust T shaped base design to ensure maximum stability with modern ergonomic features to allow for prolonged routine viewing on a daily basis. The series offers Planachromatic and Planachromatic positive phase objectives and a Trinocular version to allow for the attachment of a digital camera system for recording and analysing the image under examination.

- Precondenser with field diaphragm
- Condenser: Brightfield Abbe NA 0.9 (1.25 oil), iris diaphragm and filter holder, rack and pinion focussing adjustment
- Stage: 210 x 410mm, 90mm transversal movement and 60mm longitudinal, nonius reading upto 0.1mm
- LED 3W with intensity control (halogen also available)
